PUBLISHING PROCESS
The following process is typical and for reference only. It may differ for specific projects. Make sure you communicate with the editorial staff on your project whenever needed.
- Publishing Consultation: Email or call us for any question about our service and related fees.
- Publishing Application: Fill out relevant forms and submit your manuscript for consideration of publishing with Laurel Academics.
- Review Feedback: Either accepted or rejected by the publisher, author will receive timely decision with relevant feedback。
- Signing Contract: Signing publishing contract if the work is accepted for publish.
- Singing contract with detailed publishing terms and services.
- Submit ISBN application form. The number of ISBN needed depends on specific publishing needs.
- Author pay publishing fee for relevant publishing, ISBNs, bar codes, and other chosen services.
- Review and Revision:
- Author submit complete work, including cover pages, interior pages, table of contents, and the copyright page.
- Publisher provides review feedback for revision.
- Author complete revision.
- If other services are chosen, the publisher will work with the author to complete all relevant items.
- Completion and Registration:
- Final manuscript and media assets are completed and locked.
- Author submit all assets and materials to publisher for archive.
- Publisher assign ISBN and bar codes according to publishing contract.
- Publisher register ISBN for the corresponding work.
- Publisher complete other services according to the contract.
- For printed books, the author should submit 8 copies to the publisher for archive and LOC submission.
